REVIVAL June Edition: DJ PQ, Stretch Armstrong & Cosmo Baker

DJ PQ and guest DJs Stretch Armstrong and Cosmo Baker are rocking FreeCandy in Brooklyn this Saturday for the REVIVAL party!

What is REVIVAL you ask?

BKRevival is a monthly dance function we hold every second Saturday in an old car wash that’s converted into a hidden art gallery and event space. With stunning visuals and pop art adorning all the walls, we bring in the best DJs from NY and beyond – led by residents Rich Medina and PQ – to create a unique energy that will make you want to dance. The music is open format, as long as its dope, and we bring in a few extra speakers and amps to make sure the sound thumps. We’re back again with a stellar lineup Saturday May 11 while while our resident party rocker, Rich Medina, is overseas. As always, DJ PQ will be rocking along with our guest DJs Stretch Armstrong and Cosmo Baker.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Stretch Armstrong, he made a name for himself spinning on the Stretch and Bobbito radio show, a classic in New York’s Hip Hop history. He put people up on artists like Biggie, Wu-Tang, and Nas — before they got big!

Cosmo Baker is a master of genres with an affinity for wolves. He mixes everything from hip-hop to disco and always keeps it funky and fresh. Cosmo is also the founder of The Rub, an internationally known DJ collective/party. With this much skill on the 1’s and 2’s, the party is sure to be one you won’t want to miss.
