PREMIERE: Well$ “130” Video

North Carolina’s Well$ has been clawing his way up the rungs of the rap game over the past year and a half with impeccable flows and a distinct vocal tone that wavers between nasal and raspy. He’s even caught himself a Metro Boomin beat last month—seemingly a sign of big things to come. Now, the 21-year-old phenom is back with a visual for “130,” a looming track full of low-end and piano loops. Well$’ bars set a determined tone, not afraid to shrug off haters: “Habits of the young and reckless / Actually, still young and reckless / Make Forbes by 27.”

Directed by Summit Collective, the one-take video shoot sees the rapper and his crew in a forest junkyard, raging to the song and breaking stuff. Feel like we could all use a little of that energy mid work-week. Check the clip above, it’s not too late to hop on the Well$ bandwagon.
