U-God “Heads Up” ft. The Gza and Jackpot Scotty Wotty

Wu Tang Stage Lights Mic Glasses

More than 20 years since the birth of New York City’s Wu-Tang Clan — arguably the most influential group/collective in hip hop history — the legend continues as founding member U-God returns to the mic to bless fans with his upcoming solo release, Keynote Speaker, dropping July 23rd on RZA’s label Soul Temple Records.

To warm things up in preparation for the album, Golden Arms (U-God) has cooked up a lyrical assault single dubbed “Heads Up” featuring fellow Wu member The GZA and rhymer Jackpot Scotty Wotty. The track is a two and a half-minute verbal workout with no hook, emphasizing a return to the raw chambers of 90’s New York City rap that made the Wu-Tang Clan so heralded in the industry.

Protect ya neck, chest, and eardrums as the track resonates U-God’s return into the airwaves straight with no chaser. Round up the crew as the legendary Wu-Tang Clan celebrates its 20th Anniversary by touring and making rounds at this year’s most anticipated music gatherings including playing the Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, TN on June 16th and headlining Rock The Bells in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, and New Jersey.
