Trinidad James “Def Jam” Video

Trinidad James addresses his “we run y’all” New York City diss and people generally thinking he’s gone insane with his new music video, “Def Jam.”

The visual, shot in Brooklyn, sees James show love to a New York tailor, brag about his record deal and put on Hopsin eyes (as if you didn’t already think he was messing with that stuff). Quite understandably though, TJ spends most of his time indoors or surrounded by a deep posse.

We respect TJ for showing Brooklyn some love in this video after it was perceived he was dissing New York City rap, and we can all respect the end message of “One Love” for sure. But if you’re going to step on the streets that brought you Biggie, you better step up your bars too, son!

Check out the music video for “Def Jam” in the player above. What do you think of the new cut from TJ?
