The Migos Hit Nigeria For Their New Video, “Call Casting”
With Takeoff in tow, The Migos hit Nigeria
The Migos are gearing for the release of their new album, Culture, and they’ve done well for themselves on the charts in anticipation of it. “Bad and Boujee,” arguably the biggest hit in rap as 2017 kicks off, is currently #7 on the Hot 100, and they seek to follow it with “Call Casting,” the video for which you can watch above.
In December, Quavo, Offset and Takeoff visited Nigeria to play a show, and a viral video showing their crowd going wild to “Bad and Boujee” was born from the trip. It was a perfect table-setter for “Call Casting,” which takes place in Nigeria’s capital of Lagos. The video interpolates stirring imagery of the video’s surroundings with footage of the group taking turns delivering their verses, kicking off with Takeoff, who was absent from “Bad and Boujee.” The three (a)migos are back together on “Call Casting” though.
