The DNC Shit-Show is Over, Thank God

Thursday marked the final day of the Democratic National Convention, but it felt a lot more like the last days of the Occupy movement. There was no rhyme or reason to anything that went down outside of Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center where Hillary Clinton would later accept her party’s nomination. There were pockets of protests inside the Wells Fargo Center led by Bernie delegates. Outside, demonstrators were outnumbered by police and press and the huge delegate walkout they were expecting never happened.

There were a few (emphasis on few), interesting things that did happen though.

Let’s take a look!

Vermin Supreme set an American flag hat on fire to make fun of the other people setting flags on fire and how media flocked to anything with flames.

These people were parked under a bridge playing loud dance music to show support for law enforcement.

Pro-Palestine Hasidic Jews were fighting with Pro-Israel Zionist Jews.

This guy was trolling protesters (although they didn’t realize it) by giving respect to Frank Rizzo, a now dead former Philadelphia mayor and police chief. There’s a mural of him in South Philly and people can’t stop tagging it.

Some guy that no one noticed was trying to fly a Trump kite, which apparently is a thing:

And lastly and slightly unrelated, this local media outlet can’t tell the difference between a blunt and a joint.
