The Dark Knight Rises: The Mobile Game Trailer

The most anticipated sequel of the summer blockbuster movie season will be playable on your smartphone this coming July as The Dark Knight Rises: The Mobile Game. The developers at Gameloft (makers of the MIB 3 app) have not only translated filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s vision of the Batman universe to video game form, but they’ve also recaptured the feel and the gameplay style of the popular Batman: Arkham Asylum games on the Xbox 360 and PS3. From the looks of the 35 second teaser trailer, the over-the-shoulder, third-person perspective action is fast and intense. There’s multiple fighting maneuvers in Batman’s arsenal to clean the clocks of various thugs on the streets of Gotham City. The 3D landscape graphics alone are very impressive for a mobile platform.

While the official release date has yet to be announced, The Dark Knight Rises: The Mobile Game will be available for download on the iOS and Android platforms.
