nyc fashion and streetwear brand supreme teame up with nike sb to release some new colorways of the air force 2

Supreme Reveals Nike SB Air Force 2 Collaboration

Supreme’s Fall/Winter season has started and the world’s most hyped streetwear brand is back with a new Nike collaboration. Preme will release a special version of the underrated Nike Air Force 2 low.

The sneaker is all leather and will come in four different colorways. Like other Supreme x Nike collaborations, the “World Famous” slogan is embedded on the back heel. And those with some keen vision can faintly see the customized lace eyelets which bears the streetwear brand’s logo.

Supreme and Nike have been collaborating for 15 years, beginning back in 2002 with the White Cement Dunk Low Pro SB. This new release will be Supreme’s 22nd Nike collaboration; following up the Air More Uptempos and Comme Des Garcons Air Force 1s released in the Spring 2017 season.

Let us also take a moment to acknowledge the sheer dopeness of bringing back one of Nike’s sickest sneakers, the Air Force 2.  Originally released in 1986, the shoe has been resurrected as retros over the years, most recently in three colorways in 2016. And although it is easily overshadowed by the more popular Air Force 1, there is certainly a niche of sneakerheads that will be feeling these. In the early 2000s, the Air Force 2 reached grail status through Nike’s collaboration with ESPO.

The new Supreme and Nike collaboration will cost a modest $98 and will be available in Supreme’s London, New York, Los Angeles and Paris stores on September 7.  It will arrive at the store’s Japan outpost on September 9. Make sure to also check out Supreme’s new skate video directed by Manuel Schenck, which shows exactly what these kicks are meant to be used for.
