Show & Prove Super Bowl at the 2013 Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival

Tonight’s Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival activities, going down at LittleField (622 Degraw Street), highlight the art of MC-ing via local and independent hip hop acts. Competing lyricists Kon Boogie, Billy Conahan, Famous, and Undeniable will duke it out for an opportunity to grace this coming Saturday’s main performance stage. Attendees will also be treated to a special performance from 90’s hardcore hip hop duo, Das EFX.

KRS One MCs Act Like They Don't Know Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival Jay Shells

New York City-based artist Jay Shells of the The Rap Quotes project designed tonight’s “Show & Prove” flyer with lines from KRS One’s magnum opus on lyricism, “MC’s Act Like They Don’t Know.” The 1995 tune broke down how many so called hip hop acts would make strides on the charts, but fail to put on and perform well when it came to a live show. ‘Nuff said!

Grab tickets to tonight’s “Show & Prove Super Bowl” and all of the other events going down for the festival right here.
