Shocking Reversal: Cam’ron Approves Snitching

The legend of Cam’ron rests as much in Come Home With Me and Paid and Full as it does in a 2007 interview with Anderson Cooper. During an episode of 60 Minutes, Cam postulated that he wouldn’t even snitch on a serial killer if they were his neighbor. “I might move, but I’m not going to call and be like, ‘Hey, the serial killer’s in 4E’,” he told Cooper.

In 2017, however, Cam has readjusted his perspective. Last night on The Daily Show, Cam’ron offered a public service announcement telling possible whistleblowers that in the Donald Trump Era, snitching is a “civic ass duty.”

Imagine backtracking on your innermost core philosophy because you’re that disgusted by the new president’s administration. This is what America has come to.
