Shabazz Palaces “#CAKE”

In the midst of gearing up for the July 29 release of their project Lese Majesty, Shabazz Palaces released the track “#CAKE.” No, this track isn’t related to this song, or that song.

The song finds Ishmael talking about the age old topic of “having your cake and eating it too.” The track unintentionally gives off Chicago juke vibes, yet manages to get the point across in a captivating manner. Click on the player above to listen to the track, along with a visual that they swear is “not the video.”
