Sean Spicer, Constant Dickage
Exposed at the Apple Store
Sean Spicer is no stranger to hostile questions. The White House Press Secretary regularly fields them from the press pool in Washington D.C. In short time his briefings have devolved in sessions marked by bitterness, lying and possible cries for help.
What the 45-year-old New York native probably isn’t used to (yet) is being bombarded with questions once he steps down from that podium. And if he is, you sure can’t tell from the video footage below. In it a very flustered Spicer tries very hard to hold it together while an Indian-American woman lets him have it in an Apple store.

The woman, 33-year-old Shree Chauhan, lobbed questions at Spicer like “How does it feel to work for a fascist?” and “Have you helped with the Russia stuff?” And, of course, “Are you a criminal as well? Have you too, committed treason, like the president?” It was a line of questioning without a pulled punch, and though Spicer initially tried to brush Chauhan off with pleasantries, his patience eventually ran out. “[America] is such a great country that it allows you to be here,” said Spicer, before leaving.
In a subsequent post on Medium, Chauhan detailed the hostility she felt Spicer’s comment carried. “It’s one thing to have a Twitter egg say you do not belong in America,” wrote Chauhan, referring to the site anonymous trolls. “It is quite another to have the Press Secretary of the United States of America do so.”
Chauhan acknowledged her impoliteness to Spicer, but pointed out that her attitude didn’t warrant a comment as inflammatory as the one Spicer made. Chauhan isn’t allowed to be in America, it’s her Constitutional right to be here. It’s unfortunate that seemingly every person within the White House seems unable to decipher such a fundamental concept.
