Saint JHN’s “3 Below” Is Cold as Hell

For artists that gain notoriety songwriting for others, it can sometimes be a challenge to step into their own. With his new “3 Below,” young Brooklyn artist Saint JHN, who helped craft a record for Usher’s 2016 album, Hard II Love, once again proves he’s up to the task.

Over a banger of a beat by frequent collaborator f a l l e n, JHN delivers a dark, bellowing ode to cold hearted love perfect for anonymous late night hook ups in the deep, dark corners of writhing dance floors.  “You know I make ’em all audition,” JHN raps over layered 808s and an antagonistic piano melody. “I ain’t trying to be nobody’s hero.”

It’s a bonafide jam, and an effective follow-up to JHN’s recent releases, “Roses” and “Reflex,” which have combined for roughly a million Soundcloud streams.

Check “3 Below” hero. Saint JHN’s debut album, Collection 1, is due out this year.
