PREMIERE: Rosati “Crystallizations” Video

After grinding away in a cold, rainy East coast city for years with minor success, many MCs eventually choose to relocate to the sunnier climes of the West. Cali is usually the destination and it’s not just the weather that artists are flocking to, it’s the responsive crowds and opportunities. Like his #TheWinners family Hus Kingpin and Rozewood, Rosati made the move to L.A. about a year back. And as with those founders of crew, the change has influenced his music greatly. Not only has he been more prolific, but his third eye seems to have been opened.

Rosati definitely seems receptive to the Left coast’s new age spirituality. So open, in fact, that the video for this loosie, titled “Crystallizations,” is an actual crystal therapy healing session. And the priestess who leads this meditation, Frankie, also directs the unique video. You know you’re dealing with some L.A. shit when your healer wears a Fendi shirt with a Keffiyeh. DirtyDiggs, who are behind the spacey, ethereal beat, are also the DPs and editors of the video. Plus, they accompany Rosati to his unusual appointment. They seem a little hesitant about the whole affair but are good sports about it. If we haven’t piqued your interest by now, we don’t know what else to say.
