Ultimate Warrior Dead at 54

RIP Ultimate Warrior

Always Believe.

Where were you August 29, 1988? If you were under the age of 12, maybe even older for some, you were watching SummerSlam. This was just the beginning of what was yet to come from the Ultimate Warrior. In what has already been a tumultuous week for wrestling fans worldwide, the passing of the Ultimate Warrior brings even more shock to a fan base still reeling over the ending of “The Streak.”

Coming off a weekend of celebration and appreciation long overdue for the Ultimate Warrior that included a WWE Hall of Fame induction, old and young wrestling fans were reconnecting with the legend from parts unknown. The two-time WWF Intercontinental Champion and WWF Champion brought an energy to the squared circle that has still yet to be matched. From his entrances to his promos, Warrior took everything to the max! The man who “brought Hulk Hogan to his knees on the grandest stage of them all” will forever be immortalized. So load the spaceship with the rocket fuel and reflect back on the legacy that will forever be The Ultimate Warrior.

RIP James Brian Hellwig
