Rhythm Roulette With 6th Sense and Tanya Morgan

On this installment of “Rhythm Roulette,” we decided to check in with 6th Sense and Tanya Morgan. The trio, recently in the spotlight for their Rubber Souls project, opted to take the challenge to the next level and craft an entire song using the tried and tested blindfold formula.

We started over at Generation Records in the Village, we then headed Uptown to Just Blaze’s Stadium Red studios where we linked up with Tanya Morgan and emcees, Von Pea and Donwill.

After dusting off his Billy Ocean, Earl Klough, and Tony Orlando records, 6th quickly got to work on chopping up some samples and throwing them on the MPC. After some experimenting, 6th crafted a solid canvas for Tanya Morgan to spit over.

Ride that Billy Ocean wave and check out the episode above along with checking out the final track below. If you haven’t picked up Rubber Souls yet, it’s on iTunes now.
