Rapsody Brings Out Some Heavyweights On Her New Album

In recent years, Rapsody has made guest appearances on many year-end listed albums, including Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly, Anderson .Paak’s Malibu, and Ab-Soul’s Do What Thou Wilt. Now, the long-time 9th Wonder artist brings her long list of collaborators back on her first full-length LP on the Roc Nation-Jamla company, JamRoc, Laila’s Wisdom. Rapsody released a teaser video with announcing the 9/22 release date and the list of features, including Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak, Black Thought, Busta Rhymes, Musiq Soulchild, Gwen Bunn, Lance Skiiiwalker, Terrace Martin, BJ The Chicago Kid,  Moonchild, and more.



The teaser is soundtracked by the Anderson .Paak collaboration “OooWee” from Rapsody’s JamRoc debut Crown EP from last year. In advance of the release, Rapsody released her Busta Rhymes collaboration “You Should Know” and a few hours ago, began a Reddit AMA. In response to one Reddit user’s question, Rap spoke on some of the process collaborating on the album:
