Come Up Yakki Divioshi

Premiere: Yakki “Come Up”

As Atlanta’s Dungeon Daddy Rico Wade mentions in our exclusive interview, Yakking Divioshi is “a real West Side dude” meaning that, “He’s from the hood. He knows struggle, He knows pain. He knows not having no bed to sleep.” He also knows how to channel those experiences into powerful music, as we heard on his last Mass Appeal exclusive “D.R.A.K.E. (Do Right And Kill Everything).”

Today, we premiere a new Yakki joint entitled “Come Up,” in which he pours out the motivation behind his relentless grind— love for his family, and memories of being broke “with my back all against the ropes.” Listening to his passionate vocals, it’s easy to see why Rico holds out such high hopes for Yakki.
