PREMIERE: Rigz, V Don And Gillie Da Kid’s “The Urge” Video Is Armed Robbery 101

Buzzing projects with Eto (Omertà) and Willie The Kid (Deutsche Marks) have V Don’s name reverberating through the underground right now. Heads are taking notice of his dusty, sample-heavy style and you’re about to hear him backing many of your favorite rappers. Actually, since we’ve been up on dun’s music for a minute, you’ll see him in a Rhythm Roulette soon!

So you know we had to hit you with his brand new flick with Rochester badmon Rigz. We’re dropping the raw AF video for “The Urge” just as their EP, Calculated, makes its debut. The five bangers on this joint are complemented by interludes from Philly rap OG Gillie Da Kid—they’re really just free game for those hugging the block. Rigz takes each nugget of wisdom Gillie spills and reacts with a strong arm rap. This is some “game recognize game” shit.

In the video for “The Urge,” we witness Rigz murk some unlucky hustler in a Tahoe. What he does next is like the ABCs of armed robbery. Like a hood how-to guide. Disclaimer: Kids don’t try this at home.
