Reef the Lost Cauze and Bear-One

PREMIERE: Reef The Lost Cauze & Bear-One “Radio Suckas” ft. Peedi Crakk, STS, Truck North

Philly mainstay Reef the Lost Cauze is anything but (a lost cause). For well over a decade he has been a fixture in the underground hip hop scene and has proven himself on the battle circuit and in the booth. His latest project Furious Styles, a tribute to Laurence Fishbrune’s role as the stern pops in Boyz N The Hood, drops on Soulspazm Records digitally on June 24th and in the physical on July 8th.

For “Radio Suckas,” this Beardgang emcee brought together some of the City of Brotherly Love’s illest spitters for a celebration of non-radio friendly material. Philly’s prince, Peedi Crakk, opens up the track, Roots associate Truck North comes in with his best Ice Cube impression, STS (Sugar Tongue Slim) follows that up with some blue collar pimpin’, and finally Reef shuts it down calling out Ebro and, well, urban radio in general. Bear-One freaks a beat that would make the Bomb Squad proud, and the assemblage recite Q-Tip and Chuck D lyrics for the throwback hook. Play loud…in a Jeep if possible.
