PREMIERE: Nasty Nigel “El Ultimo Playboy: La Vida Y Los Tiempos De Nigel Rubirosa” EP

Joshua Nigel Reynoso AKA Nasty Nigel is very much a product of his environment. The Corona, Queens emcee admits that he has the uncompromising attitude of a Dominican through and through. And it’s finally coming to light in his music. He’s rapped alongside his buddies in World’s Fair for years but now he’s taking his explicit talents down the solo route.

His new project, El Ultimo Playboy: La Vida Y Los Tiempos De Nigel Rubirosa, draws inspiration from the globe-traveling playboy Porfirio Rubirosa. While the production is grand and could set the mood for one of Porfirio’s nightly missions, the lyrical content is filled with the pain of a common man just trying to get by, with his vices and short stacks.

Nigel also shot a video in conjunction with the tape to discus how octopuses are aliens, his asthma, crazy parties, and more. Sounds like fun, right? You can download the project HERE. You can purchase a cassette copy and a t-shirt HERE.
