PREMIERE: Low Leaf “Palm Psalms” BTS Video

Filipino-American multi-instrumentalist Low Leaf is back with her unique retro flavor. The LA artist best known for her harp and commanding vocals, has opted to go the strictly live instrumentation route this time out. Her funky, earthy chunes are regularly heavily produced and executed all by her lonesome, but this time she involved musicians from LA and the Philippines.

She feels that the sound and direction on her upcoming album Palm Psalms: A Light to Resolve All Darkness are different enough that she got together with director Dominic Charles Ferris to shoot a video to serve as an introduction to the new project. She does a solo rendition of “It Is Within” from the album and then explains where her new approach and outlook evolved from. So, without further ado, check out LL’s new stylings above.

Palm Psalms: A Light to Resolve All Darkness drops October 14th on Low Leaf’s own Creator DIY label. You can pre-order it on Bandcamp here.
