PREMIERE: Powerflo’s “Where I Stay” Video

In case you thought it was just a pipe dream that someone from Cypress Hill, Biohazard and Fear Factory would link up for a supergroup of heavy metal and rap, Powerflo is here for you. And if the swell of electric guitars and hardcore raps isn’t enough, we’ve got a brand new video full of lower riders, Harleys and tattoos for your eyeballs.

“The video for ‘Where I stay’ is a look into the car and motorcycle lifestyles and cultures in the Los Angeles area where some of the most recognized low riders, car clubs, MCs and internationally known tattoo artists helped bring the culture I speak of into the spotlight,” rapper Sen Dog of Cypress Hill tells MASS APPEAL.

Sen teamed up with Downset guitarist Rogelio “Roy” Lozano, Biohazard vocalist and guitarist Billy Graziadei, ex-Fear Factory bassist Christian Olde Wolbers, and Worst drummer Fernando Schaefer for this new supergroup.

“When Roy and I started jamming, he would call my rap style to heavy music Powerflo,” says Sen. “We were trying to incorporate everything that inspired us.”

“Powerflo is a word that describes the style,” Roy adds. “It’s when you’re spitting verses over something super heavy. It’s the only way to say it.”

“Where I Stay” is off their self-titled album, which dropped last month. Check the tour listing below for your city and watch the video above.
