Popcaan playing Ludi

Popcaan “Hustle” ft. Pusha T

Popcaan’s Where We Come From just dropped yesterday, and one of the strongest tracks off the album is “Hustle,” featuring Pusha T. With menacing production from Dre Skull, “Hustle” is a song you count your stacks to while lamping on the beach with a couple bad chicks. Popcaan knows how to create that trap/Caribbean aesthetic like no other.

Pusha T’s presence only intensifies the trapology that the beat triggers. Pusha rhymes, “Sittin’ at the table, connect like the cable guy. Gloves on, trying not to catch a table high.” All I can think of is Jim Carey coming in the room with 20 kilos of that hard while Pusha T is wearing Michael Jackson “Beat It” gloves. Quite the image.

Check out the track below along with all of Where We Come From.
