Pharrell Reveals N*E*R*D and Adidas NMD Hu Sneaker Collaboration
Run to the sun
N*E*R*D’s headlining spot at this year’s ComplexCon was already something to get crazy hyped about, but a recent Instagram post of Pharell chilling with Nigo now has the sneaker community going. Pharrell is seen rocking a pair of NMD Hu on his feet that look to be a collaboration between N*E*R*D and Adidas. And now Yeezy Mafia just leaked some detailed photos of these fly kicks.
Yeezy Mafia wrote that the shoes will drop in connection with N*E*R*D’s upcoming appearance in November. As seen above, they have the group’s name printed with reflective material on the left shoe and “Y*O*U” on the right.
Adidas has not confirmed any info about this upcoming collaboration. One might guess that it will either be a super limited release or even that they are custom made for Pharrell and his bandmates. However, uber rare sneaker drops did occur at last year’s ComplexCon. Nike’s “VLONE” Air Force One made its debut at the convention, as did a pair of all white SF-AF-1’s.
N*E*R*D ‘s performance will mark the group’s first public appearance together since briefly reuniting at Camp Flog Gnaw in 2014. There are also rumors swirling that the fifth N*E*R*D album is coming soon.
Although nothing is certain yet, whoever gets this rare pair of sneakers is definitely going to feel like a rock star.
