Offset’s 15 Best Verses of 2017

Since their rise in 2014, Migos have become one of the most reliable and entertaining groups in rap. In the ensuing years, each of the three members—Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff—have built  fan bases of their own. Then in the summer of 2016, Quavo proved his ability to bring the “Midas touch” (to use his preferred description) to each guest slot he got, from posse records with the G.O.O.D. Music family to Top 40 cuts with DJ Khaled and Liam Payne. That ability made him, at least in the public eye, the Atlanta-bred trio’s de facto leader.

Once 2017 arrived, however, Offset quickly shook things up. Migos’ second LP, Culture, dropped just three weeks into January, and Offset marched through it, continuing to capitalize on his sensational performance from their 2016 chart-topper “Bad & Boujee” (Woo! Woo!). From there, he barely took a breath. Big Sean’s “Sacrifices”? Woo! Two verses beside Nicki Minaj? Woo! His fiancée Cardi B’s new “Um Yea”? Woo! A joint album with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin? Holy shit, woo!

Of the many incredible verses Offset’ dropped in 2017, below are his 17 best.
