NY Escorts Using AirBNB Service To Save Money

NYC “Escorts” Take Advantage of Airbnb’s Hospitality

According to the New York Post, escorts in New York City are turning to home-sharing website Airbnb to replace the traditional hotel room. A publicist who rented her apartment via Airbnb in March was surprised to receive a call from the police regarding a prostitute being attacked in her apartment. She returned to find an unpleasant assortment of baby wipes and condoms left in her apartment, which Airbnb fortunately paid to clean.

This is not the first time an Airbnb rental has been used for sexual misadventure, as reports of “4 hands” nude massage by men in fanny packs, or an all night “XXX Freak Fest” in Chelsea, are becoming more common. The appeal of these short-term rentals is not only the cheaper rates, but the increased anonymity, as there are no hotel doormen or security cameras to worry about. According to one 21-year-old escort, “It’s more discreet and much cheaper than The Waldorf.”
