Nas Q-Tip One Love with The Roots

Nas and Q-Tip Perform “One Love” & “The World Is Yours” With The Roots

Continuing his promo run for Illmatic XX, Nas hit “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” with Q-Tip to perform “One Love” backed by the most legendary, hardworking band in show business, The Roots. For the young bucks out there looking for a little hip hop history: while it’s quite obvious that Q-Tip sang the hook on the original “One Love,” he also produced the track. That’s what makes this reunion so special; two legends in the game meeting up again to perform a song they first worked on together 2o years ago. Illmatic has definitely stood the test of time.

Anyway, peep the performance of “One Love” above and make sure to pre-order a copy of Illmatic XX, out April 15.

One love.

*Update*

Nas & Q-Tip also performed a web exclusive version of “The World Is Yours” on “The Tonight Show.” Check out the footage below
