Miami QB Sacked Into Dust, Returns to Game Two Plays Later

Today something very scary happened during an NFL playoff game. Hotshot Steelers linebacker Bud Dupree tackled Miami quarterback Matt Moore very hard, causing Moore to be temporarily taken out of the game. Those watching at home would have understood if Moore decided to never ever pick up a football ever again. Moore, however, shook it off and came back in the game just two plays later.

Here’s what happened to Moore, courtesy of Bud Dupree, who’ll likely be somewhat of a household name after his performance in today’s Wild Card playoff game.

Yeah, we jumped back in our seats too. The irony here is, even though the Dolphins got walloped by the three-headed attack of Big Ben, Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell, Matt Moore played well enough for the Dolphins to be closer than they were. I mean, any time your back-up quarterback goes 29-36, 289 yards and a touchdown pass against the Steelers in Pittsburgh, you want to have that game.

Miami couldn’t get it done, but kudos to Matt Moore, who, by the grace of some combination of football gods, wasn’t concussed by this hit.
