Mayer Hawthorne “Her Favorite Song”

We all know it’s a dog eat dog world out there when it comes to dating and relationships. Nobody more so than Mayer Hawthorne, who released visuals today for his latest single, “Her Favorite Song.” We recently cued you guys in on Mayer’s latest efforts, with “Her Favorite Song” getting remixed by Large Professor, and now it only seems right that Hawthorne drops a vid to go along with the catchy tune.

Moral of the track? Men are dogs. But what else is new? The video is a playful take on  that notion, setting the scene with beautiful ladies in a bar full of pooches. Not just any pooches, we’re talking bartenders, piano players, DJs, hipsters, you name it. It almost looks like the ultimate pet GIF. By the end of it, Mayer is walking out a winner after mobbing with his dogs.

Mayer Hawthorne’s album, Where Does This Door Go, is set to release on July 16. Make sure you’re checking for that!
