Listen to Wale’s “Running Back,” Featuring Lil Wayne

Wale is steadily working toward the release of his 5th studio album, SHINE, and he’s unleashed another single, “Running Back” featuring Lil Wayne.

Wale and Weezy first premiered the song on ESPN during an appearance on First Take earlier this month. Both rappers draw analogies between several sports and their dealings with different women, a technique they’ve both excelled at for many years. “Running Back” marks the third single Wale has released in anticipation of sign, joining “My PYT” and “One Reason (Flex),” Wale’s moody jam with Eric Bellinger. SHINE doesn’t have a release date just yet, but considering the pace at which Folarin has been working, it’ll likely be out sooner than later.

For now, enjoy “Running Back” below.
