Listen to a 20 Minute Mash-Up Mix of DJ Shadow and Run The Jewels

Mash-ups offer a glimpse into an alternative universe where some of your favorite artists get into the studio together to recreate some of your favorite songs. Projects like Rock Phenomenon and The Grey Album combine two worlds to give birth to a new one.

Nashville DJ, Skarface, did just that with his latest mix. Now residing in Atlanta, Skarface took beats from DJ Shadow’s discography and acapellas from Run The Jewels’ first album then surgically stitched them together for a 20 minute trip into the land of Shadow The Jewels. Right when I saw this mix online, I was praying that he included DJ Shadow’s “Organ Donor” and my prayers were answered. Check out the mix below as well as the track listing.
