Legendary Shoes by Bankshot

Legendary Shoes is a short film, from director Bankshot, highlighting some of the most iconic shoes in fashion. However, in this film the shoes do the talking, and explain what part they played in shaping the careers of legendary figures in music and sports.

Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan IVs divulge why they were responsible for much of His Airness’ success. Elvis’s blue suede shoes reveal how they helped the King of Rock and Roll with the ladies. James Brown’s gators share how they gave the Godfather of Soul his step. And finally, a pair of Vans Half-Cabs tell the tale of how they became the most popular skateboarding shoe of all time. Watch the Legendary Shoes above and head over to Vimeo to see more of Bankshot’s work.

“The soul of every great man is defined by the shoes he chooses.”
