Lance Mountain Unveils The New Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 “Moving Mountain”

It’s official, the game has officially changed. When the first Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 quickstriked at retailers, heads were slightly disappointed but still jumped all over the quickstrike release. That is until Lance Mountain pimped these bad boys something serious with his Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 “Moving Mountain.”

Here’s the kicker, these sneakers will be offered in two colorways, a white and black pair. Mountain himself used to rock mismatched Js to skate in, so the sneakers are mismatched on the sole and tongue tab with good reason. As wear increases, the paint on the sneakers begins to peel off, revealing the OG iterations of the “Bred” and “Royal” Jordan 1s. Nike is providing further incentive to wear your kicks, not keep them on ice.

The Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 “Moving Mountain” is set to hit select SB accounts and on June 7. Check out the video in the player up top to hear Lance talk about the sneaker’s impact on his skating career and how he came up with the idea to modify them.
