KRS-ONE And Fat Joe Bring The Bronx To Miami For “Way of Wade” Event

The last edition of Art Basel was one of the best thus far. Mass Appeal attributes its fantastic weekend largely to NBA champion Dwyane Wade and the LI-NING sports apparel and sneaker company. We had the great fortune of being a selected guest for the official sneaker release of the brand pair’s sixth signature shoe “Way of Wade” (WOW6).
Beginning at a private dinner at Komodo, Mass Appeal reps, along with other media notables such as Jermaine Hall (VP of Digital, BET) and Lance Fresh (TNT), received a crash course on the making of the WOW6 by the Way of Wade design team. After the consumption of delicious Southeast Asian cuisine, the entire group shuttled to the after party at Toe Jam in the Wyndwood section of Miami. There Way of Wade and Miami sneaker boutique, The Edition teamed up to host a fantastically fun night of art exhibition and constant music. The highlight being live performances from Bronx NYC legends KRS-ONE and Fat Joe.
