Kellyanne Conway Trolled by Hero Lawyer During Selfie Video
"Ruining America" so much better than "cheese"
Kellyanne Conway may be best known for her infamous “alternative facts” interview, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The top Trump aide has said a myriad of troubling things that can’t be taken as lightly, like the time she fabricated an entire terrorist attack to help prove a point about the immigration ban, then appeared to lie about it being an of-the-moment mishap.
Due to her track record, which also includes suggesting that news personalities “talking smack” (her words) about President Trump should be fired, Conway has become a bit of a laughingstock in the media. Rachel Maddow owned her on MSNBC earlier this year, and Morning Joe has straight up banned Conway from appearing on their show.
But Conway’s lowest media moment may have come in the form of a viral cellphone video, courtesy of 28-year-old D.C. lawyer Alfredo Pelicci. Pelicci found himself eating at the same restauraunt as Conway–D.C.’s Lupo Verde–and he asked the White House aide to pose for a selfie, which, judging by the video, she seemed glad to do.

Unfortunately for Conway, Pelicci was far more “woke” than she bargained for. Seconds after the two assumed their selfie pose positions, Pelicci said into the camera, “Say ‘I’m ruining America’.” Conway appeared unfazed at first, but then looked down at her phone, slightly flustered, asking Pelicci if he felt ‘brave’ for saying that.
However, Conway may have been a little more peeved than she let on. Per Buzzfeed, Pelicci says that on her way out of the restaurant, Conway heckled him with her ‘brave’ refrain. “She kept continually saying, ‘You’re so brave! You should be happy!’,” said Pelicci to Buzzfeed. “And her tone became less professional as I was walking away.”
So: shout out to American hero Alfredo Pelicci. Stay woke.
