KEL1ST Brings “2Many2Name” To The Game

Graffiti legend KEL1ST, well known for being featured in “Subway Art” and “Style Wars,” now takes his experience and expertise to the digital realm. In what is undoubtedly one of the first apps of its kind, KEL1ST’s “2Many2Name” takes you on an anthropological journey bringing to aficianados and amateurs alike a history lesson on graffiti’s “wild style,” specifically the use of the number “2” by some of the cultures most prolific originators that set the standard for the style.

The art of the 2

Keeping to the graffiti aesthetic, users are guided through black book like pages laden with examples showcasing key writers that utilized the “wild style.” From there you are able to delve deeper and take a look at master “base” sketches, hear corresponding narratives, and even try your hand at mastering the style. You can scoop up 2Many2Name in the iTunes store (the app is exclusive to the iPad and requires iOS 6.0 or higher). Learn a thing or two to enhance your mind and let the ink flow.
