Jim Jones “Harlem” ft. A$AP Ferg

While the demarcation line of where Harlem truly starts keeps changing, one thing remains constant: it’s been the home to some of the most consistent artists in the game. On top of that, the multigenerational synergy between the uptown legends like Jim Jones and A$AP Ferg has been a shining example of what bridging the gap between the 2000s–2010’s could potentially be. After recently linking on “Finesse,” the two put on for their borough that raised them.

While Jim Jones shares street wisdom through late night anecdotes, Ferg can’t stop breaking the Internet by stunting so hard. The take home lesson is to show respect since both have probably been with you girl in some Jordan flip flops, setting the Gucci flip flops aside. No diss to Future. The production from the Drumatics and additional help from Mike WiLL Made-It starts off as a dark hymn from the church of the Hood Pope, but then gets trippy with a wobbly bass for extra edge. The new music from Jim Jones may signal a new project.

You can purchase the single on iTunes.
