Vodka on the Weekend

ILoveMakonnen ft. Pyramid Quince, Rich Po Slim, and Archibald Slim “Vodka On The Weekend” Video

Where was this song when I was still drinking vodka? I’ve since learned to stay away from it, but shit, after listening to ILoveMakonnen’s “Vodka On The Weekend,” I may just reconsider.

After dropping the track back in mid-July, ILoveMakonnen returns with Pyramid Quince, Rich Po Slim, and Archibald Slim to bless fans with a music video for the Father-produced cut. Makonnen takes the back seat on this track, simply providing a laid back and extremely catchy hook, letting his fellow up-and-coming emcees showcase their individual lyrical skills. While some of his other releases may be a little too avant-garde for folks, “Vodka On The Weekend” is definitely slow-burning banger and an excellent choice for any pre-game playlist.

Check out the music video for “Vodka On The Weekend” above. And if you’re in the mood for more from the magical combination of ILoveMakonnen and Father, peep the music video for “Look At Wrist,” featuring Key!, below.
