Gosha Rubchinskiy Fall/Winter 2014 Lookbook
Bringing heat in the winter.
Gosha Rubchinskiy is going HAM for this year’s fall/winter season. The Moscow-based designer’s eponymous brand isn’t taking the usual route of somber hues and patterning of its fashion counterparts for the colder months. Rather, Rubchinskiy’s playful utilization of color and textures is what defines the collection. Look no further than the outerwear pieces, including a radiantly color blocked jacket, a furry pink leopard coat for the Killa Cam aficionados, and shearling-lined leather jackets.
Although playful designs are available, more toned-down looks are also displayed, including solid-colored blazers, speckled sweaters, and tees. Rubchinskiy doesn’t play into trends, rather he makes them their own as evident with a pair of mustard overalls. Also highlighted in the collection is a velvet ensemble that ain’t your creepy uncle’s Elvis outfit.
Overall, Gosha Rubchinskiy is killing the game this fall/winter by stepping away from his typical graphic-heavy collections and designing more intriguing garments, proving it’s about much more than t-shirts bruh. Look for the collection to hit select retailers soon.
