The Rap Test

Flex Your Lyrical Knowledge With the Rap Test

There’s finally a way to quantify your hip hop knowledge, and it’s all thanks to 21-year-old Danny Friday. Friday created The Rap Test, a game where you have 15 seconds to identify which song by a specific artist you’re listening to. The faster you answer, the more points you earn. Identify enough tracks correctly in a section and you level up.

Simple, right? Well as you level up, the song selections go deeper into the artists’ catalogues, weeding out the people who only know the hits and rewarding true fans. After putting your knowledge to the test, you can see how you stack up against other hip hop heads on a leaderboard

Right now, you can test your knowledge of tracks from Kanye West, Drake, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and Meek Mill. Check the game out here.
