PREMIERE: Don Mykel “N.W.O.” Video

We first noticed Bronx-born Harlem-raised rapper Don Mykel when he blazed Sway’s Friday Fire cipher last year. His last project, G.O.D. Mykel: The Last Martyrput his lyrical abilities front and center—which is somewhat of a departure from current trends in rap. To hear the artist tell it, that deviaation is 100% deliberate.

“This is the beginning of the cultural revolution,” says Don Mykel. “It’s time to switch the focus back to the art. In which reflects our current strifes, struggles and will to overcome. This is a message to the gate keepers.  Fuck an image. Fuck a story. Let the music speak for itself. Let the cultural revolution begin.”

With that in mind MASS APPEAL proudly premieres the official music video for “N.W.O.” (New World Order)—produced by Scott Farlee—the first single from Don’s upcoming EP, Infinite, which is set to drop September 8.

Check the visuals up top and chances are you’ll want to pre-Order Infinite Here.
