DJ Shadow x Run the Jewels Video: “Nobody Speak”

You’ve heard the audio, now watch the video for “Nobody Speak,” the DJ Shadow-produced and Run the Jewels-lyriced track that has El-P “killing it,” and Killer Mike “killing shit.”

The video shows a seemingly civil meeting of world leaders that quickly collapses into chaos, as politicians brawl and Shadow, El-P, and Killer Mike all make cameos.

“It’s such a dope video,” says Killer Mike. “It’s what I really wish Trump and Hillary would just do and get it over with…And even in that fight I think Hillary would win – and that’s s not an endorsement.”

DJ Shadow had a slightly cynical take as well. “We wanted to make a positive, life-affirming video that captures politicians at their election-year best,” he says. “We got this instead.”

“Nobody Speak,” featuring Run the Jewels, is a standout track from DJ Shadow’s new album, The Mountain Will Fall, out on Mass Appeal Records. His tour officially kicks off in September.
