Dave East Rolls Deep in “30 N***az” Video

With each track off of Dave East’s Kairi Chanel presenting a significant part of his life–the women, his family, his higher aspirations–it’s easy to think that you have the whole picture for the Harlem emcee. But it’s not until you get to track six that you understand the crew he’s rocking with and is subconsciously motivating him to push himself.

The blue-tinted video for “30 N***az” serves as a cool introduction to the homies as the Buda & Grandz-produced cut eases any tension in your body. As life goes in the city, the video portrays the ups and downs of life with good times among Dave and his friends as well as the unfortunate crime scene in the streets. No matter what happens, Dave isn’t forgetting the people that he’s representing for the rest of the world to see.

If you’re in Europe, you can catch Dave East live on Kid Ink’s tour through March and April. You can also purchase a physical copy of Kairi Chanel online and in select stores.
