Dave Chappelle is Ready to be Funny on TV Again!

Dave Chappelle will release two stand-up specials on March 21, marking his first return to the format since 2004’s For What It’s Worth. Both new specials are part of the lucrative Netflix deal that was announced back in November. Until now, Chappelle had only offered up a brief teaser of what’s to come. Today we have a full-blown, A Tribe Called Quest-soundtracked trailer for what we’ve since declared Dave Chappelle Day.

We now know their titles: Dave Chappelle: The Age of Spin and Dave Chappelle: Deep in the Heart of Texas. The Age of Spin was filmed at the Palladium in Los Angeles in March of last year, while Heart of Texas happened at Austin City Limits in 2015.

The trailer also includes briefs snippets from the specials, including jokes about once meeting O.J. Simpson and his wife, as well as ISIS’s YouTube videos. It’s not much to go on, but this is Chappelle, so obviously we’re in.

You can watch the trailer above.
