CJ Fly “Thee Way Eye See It”

Pro Era "CJ Fly Thee way eye see it" cover

CJ Fly is the next player up to bat from the Pro Era team as he drops his latest project “Thee Way Eye See It.” The 18 track mixtape is a collage of nostalgic beats and new age flows. The Brooklyn rapper breaks down the science over soulful boom bap beats. With a lot to say, CJ fills in every beat and space with his breathless delivery and lyrical prowess. CJ analyzes and transcribes life on tracks like “Too Paid” through his bars with lines like:

If you selling white at a cheaper price
Truth is it don’t matter about your brain matter
Your brain splatter you sling cane get slang faster
The same bastard that aim at you give you the name Casper

“Thee I Way Eye See It” features production from Lee Bannon, Statik Selektah and fellow Pro Era in-house producer Chuck Strangers. The album also features verses from Ab-Soul, Dirty Sanchez, T’nah Apex, Dessy Hinds,  the legendary Buckshot, Capital Steez and Pro Era point guard Joey Bada$$. When asked for a quote about the project, CJ Fly said:

“With this project, I wanted to share my perspective by letting listeners into my world and translate it all in the most artistic and creative way possible. The music is only an introduction to ‘thee way eye see it.’

Check out the mixtape below and let us know your thoughts on the project.
