Bronx Rap Video Shoot Ends in Shooting

The NYPD has released footage of a music video shoot in the Bronx that turned extremely violent. The incident occurred early Saturday morning in a bodega at 1439 Webster Avenue, while two men were filming a rap video at the store.

According to owner Ali Abdul, “They were fighting over who’s the star, who’s better. They were drunk. They spit at each other then one guy pulled out a gun and shot the other guy five times.”

The shocking footage shows the gunman firing multiple shots at the 37-year-old victim, hitting him in the torso and legs. After unloading the shots into his “best friend,” the suspect pistol whipped the victim before fleeing. You can also catch multiple people just stepping over the victim without helping. The victim is currently in critical condition at Lincoln Hospital, and is expected to survive.
