BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® Contest Offers Trip to Art Basel

Sapphire Artisan Series

Your art probably deserves to be seen. If it’s up to snuff, there’s a chance you can join the gallery of photographers, painters, and other mixed media artists like Dizmology who won last year’s BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® Artisan Series. The series, started by Russell and Danny Simmons enters its third year, known for providing a platform for the work to reach new audiences. According to Complex, submissions are continued to be accepted through August 24th, 2012.

“Artisan Series judges will evaluate all submissions to determine which artists will present their work in a series of gallery shows around the country later this year. Finalists in the competition will be asked to show at Art Basel Miami in December, and the two winners of this year’s competition will have a show at the Rush Arts Gallery and Resource Center in New York City, home gallery of the Simmons brothers’ Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, in February 2013.”

The Complex sponsored competition encourages you to enter here. You can send in your work to their site, or you can hit up the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® Facebook page and leave some art on their doorstep…err wall.

Peep some of Dizmology’s work below that earned him a “W” in last year’s BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® Artisan Series.
