Blood Orange Performs in Brooklyn

Photos by Anthony Blue Jr.

Blood Orange aka Dev Hynes performed last night at Brooklyn Night Bazaar in Greenpoint, BK and we were there to capture the punchy crowd. With drinks provided by Cutty Sark, the show took place in a gallery as Tod Seelie displayed multiple photographs of abandon building and well composed landscape shots that were taken around New York. Brendan Fallis DJed throughout the night filling the Brooklyn venue with great vibes. Blood Orange played tunes from his latest album, Cupid Deluxe, which came out to a solid eight-song / 30-minute set. When the band took the stage, everyone moved closer to hear the mystical sounds. Hynes grooved around, played his guitar, and shared his mystical vocals in the crowds direction. Oh, there were also amateur boxers sparing as the event took place, which was pretty interesting and entertaining. Peep our photos below.
