Did A$AP Rocky Flip “Telephone Calls” to Call A$AP Bari a “Bitch” at Agenda?

The tweeted-and-quickly-deleted video of A$AP Bari appearing to heckle a woman to engage in sexual activity from earlier this week continues to cast a shadow on the prominent member of the A$AP Mob and founder of the VLONE clothing line. In a subsequent statement, Bari apologized for his actions and did his best to assure everyone that the matter had been handled privately among friends, but it seems that A$AP Rocky might have other ideas. During a performance of Mob cut “Telephone Calls” yesterday at the Agenda Trade Show in Cali, Rocky appeared to tweak the song’s original lyrics–“Call the young lord, A$AP Bari, he legit”–to deliver the line “Telephone call from young Carti said it’s lit/ Call the young Lord Bari, he a bitch,” instead.

Though the audio in question isn’t crystal clear, it does sound as if Rocky is indeed flipping “Telephone Calls” to take a shot at Bari, who’s been affiliated with Rocky and the A$AP Mob brand since it started in the early 2010s.

Minutes after Rocky’s performance, social media lit up with clips tying the “legit”/”bitch” flip to the controversy that has haunted Bari since the early hours of Wednesday morning, when a short video clip surfaced online depicting an upset, naked woman being heckled by a man said to be Bari, who strips the sheets off of her and says, “You fucked my assistant, now you’re going to suck my dick.” The woman, who’s clearly under duress as she flees the hotel room, tells Bari to stop. Before issuing a statement, Bari denied the video’s authenticity in a tweet that’s since been deleted.

We’ll continue to update this story as it develops.
